Connect With a Peer Grief Helper
You can get in touch with a peer grief helper by email or a brief online form.
Many people find that it can be helpful to talk to someone one-on-one who has survived a loss from substance use. We are not clinicians or grief experts. We try to support you by first listening to your story and learning about your grief journey. Then we do our best to offer you help that fits your situation and meets your needs. Please get in touch with us.
We Can Reach Out To You
When you email connect@recoveryandgrief-MA.org or submit an optional online form and ask to be contacted, a peer grief helper from SADOD’s Grief Connections program will reach out directly, listen to you compassionately, and help you find the programs and resources you need.
Get One-on-One Grief Support
Our Peer Grief Ally Program offers grievers one-on-one support. Allies are not clinicians or professional counselor. They are people who have experienced the death of someone they deeply care about and who now volunteer to help others. An Ally can be in touch with you for up to six months.
